MODERN SLAVERY POLICY

Last Updated: 24/06/2025

1. Introduction

I am committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of my business or supply chains. This statement is made in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Although I am a small photography freelancer and not legally required to publish a slavery and human trafficking statement under the Act, I strongly believe in ethical conduct and transparency.

2. My Location

I am primarily based in Edinburgh, UK, although I accept clients from all around the UK and Italy.

3. My Commitment

I am committed to:

  • Acting ethically and with integrity in all my business dealings and relationships.

  • Implementing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within my own business or in any part of my supply chain/websites/partnerships.

4. Supply Chains

My supply chains include:

  • Photography equipment manufacturers and retailers.

  • Freelance photographers and assistants.

  • Software providers (e.g., editing tools, CRM systems).

My website providers are:

  • Squarespace.

My Partnerships include:

  • Hitched.

  • Google Ads.

5. Due Diligence and Risk Management

Although my exposure to modern slavery risks is limited due to the nature of my work, I take the following steps:

  • Where possible, I work with UK-based or reputable international suppliers.

  • I aim to establish long-term relationships with trusted partners.

6. Staff Awareness

I ensure that any employees, freelancers, or collaborators are aware of my zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and know how to report any concerns.
